Thank you Cold Turkey Your tutorial is awesome, I can now flash the board in seconds using standard stlink. The erase function return error in attached picture but I just overwritten the firmware  and it did work. The only thing in your tutorial that didn't work right out of the box was lsusb command, I had to instal usb utils using these commands

installati.one/install-usbutils-debian-12/

Thanks again

You are very welcome, I'm glad it helped someone.

Thanks for pointing out the usbutils issue. I have usbutils installed in step 1 but didn't consider people starting at steps further ahead. I will be sure to include reference to it again.

Also thanks for all the work you did with the full config. I have emailed it to Scott as well as posted him another EC500 to work with as he also had issues with some of his MPG pins not working.

No idea on the error you were getting with the erase sorry. Way above my pay grade.

What program are you using to write the rt1052 firmware on the boards?

Mate, on the previous page vpomerleau states he uses MCUExpresso and this is what plenty of previous people have tried.

Don't want to sound rude but you really need to read through the thread. People have been posting what they have used and the issues they've had. Pyocd is used because it is what we've had the most success with.

Hi everyone
I added a hall sensor to my spindle so I can do closed loop on the spindle of my mill, it's wired to the index pin. Does someone have done closed loop on the spindle with remora? On the top of that I have 2 gears on the spindle. Does someone have a Hal file that might work for my configuration. . I'm having a hard time finding about this on the other threads and I read this one like five time from start to end. Remora is a different beast than mesa cards. Thank you

Did you have this working on a Mesa card?
