rotary table was created by billykid
Hello everyone
I'm doing the first tests with the turntable A axis, 360 degrees around.
when I turn the table in manual the screen displays a large circle that goes out the 'work area.
There are other settings to do?
thanks in advance
Mauro

I must point out that the machine works well, it's just a display issue. probably a bug in axis

Can you post your ini file attached and change the extension to .txt so it will upload...

One suggestion is something wrong with your GEOMETRY in your ini. Try commenting it out and see what it does.

I have never figured out how Axis displays rotary axes, but I guess it either uses the current "relative" zero or the "machine" zero positions.
Some experimentation with homing should show which.

If it uses the machine zero, then you could get it right by changing the machine limits. For example if your X axis goes from 0 to 200 with a home position of 1, you could change the limits to -30 to 170 with a home position of -29 (as a random example). That would have no effect on anything but the Axis display (and G53 moves, if you ever do them)
