Hi Guys,
I an absolute noob regarding Linux but I Just succefully finish to install Xubuntu + EMC2 on my latop and ...
It works really, really great. On Windows XP I got a maximum speed of 110 rpm and some unpredictable step loss. With Xubuntu - EMC2 I am over 300 rpm with no step loss after more than one hour running
And the most incredible (a least for me) is that it is running on a laptop I was about to trash : PIII 450Mhz 64M RAM 6G HDD
