Missing Actions, Widgets, and Objects was created by TGlinuxcnc
Hello,
I'm new to LinuxCNC and have run into a problem with the GladeVCP. I was following a tutorial when I realized I'm missing the Actions, Widgets, and Objects headers under the <search Widgets> bar. The picture labeled 'missing' shows my screen, while 'regular' shows what I've seen other users have on theirs. I installed glade using sudo apt-get install glade-gtk2, and have python2.6.6 installed as well. I'm not sure if I have forgot to install some other package or if perhaps I have the wrong version installed. Any help would be appreciated.

the widget list on the right under the 'search' entry show widgets/actions that have been added to the panel. in that pic there is no panel so no widgets listed.
Also when adding actions, i suggest right clicking the action and selecting 'add to top level' - the editor is buggy and sometimes crashes if you add them by clicking.
save often.
