Hello,
i have bought the above Touchscreen and i try to use it under LinuxCNC with gmoccapy... but of course, it did not run under Linux...
I start with a fresh linuxcnc-2.7-wheezy.iso installation.
than install USB utilities.
OK Display is found there with Elan Microelectronics. I have checked it with disconnecting the Display
Ok then check the X11 Support
nothing..
I have googled a lot but have not find a solution

You might have more luck with this question on more generically Linux forums.
(we know a lot about LinuxCNC here, but we are not, in the main, computer experts).
Though it might be a bad sign that this thread comes 5th in Google when searching for VT168 Linux

Wheezy is a pretty old OS now. I'm not saying its going to fix it but I found that hardware that did not work with Wheezy just worked on Linux Mint without installing anything. Maybe try the stretch ISO install

Hello,
i testet the Monitor on an old Laptop witch Linux Lite and every think works fine with a good touch feeling out of the box.
now i download this *.iso.
linuxcnc-stretch-uspace-i386.iso
this need a bit time, but it is possible to boot a live system from USB to test the Touchscreen?
