Yes exactly like that! I tried looking for more information about that build specifically but couldn’t seem to find the right keyword to pull it up.
I would love more information on the design of that, the motor used, the way Linuxcnc is best incorporate to fit that, and all.
i don’t think I realized that was your video, is it?

Yes it is mine, it is the old one with my full name as channel name. Plenty of stuff there also, wanted to transfer videos to new channels but there is no easy way.
My other channels just in case:

I subscribed to them all!
I couldn’t find any video explaining the pipe cuter though. What kind of motor did you use and how did you set it up?

The motor for rotating axis?
It had a long Nema 23 with 1:15 reduction, but had an accident while being transported from the old shop to the new shop and broke the reduction, so i changed it to chain reduction of 1:7 and Nema 34 motor. Also had to reduce acceleration a bit as it was cutting 193mm diameter tube with 4mm wall and 3 meter length.
Use very low inductance motor for this as they can spin faster, you might need it for smaller diameters.

Okay I will do that, Thank you! How does
this
sound?
Would you be able to give me any more information on the pipe cutter? Programming wise, design wise, issues, and all? Please, and thank you.

I never used steperonline, but from what i read here, they are always high impedance types, hence me not using them.
Programing wise, it is a 2 axis machine with the automated 3'rd axis, uses Inkscape in 2D to produce gcode.
