I control a toolchanger with classicladder and it worked fine until today when I added a couple of more rungs and now it changes tool perfectly the first one or two times and then the monostables seem to stop sendin the signal thorough, it just stop before it?
Have I exeded some limit or could there be somthing other that causes it?

I have 19 signals in and 15 out in 13 rungs.

If I pres Stop and Run in classic ladder to restart the program it does not help, but if I press reset to reset all the values then I can do another toolchange and after that the monostables are not working anymore.

Someone on IRC suggested:
" breaking when he added things makes me wonder if he has numThis and numThat set right: www.linuxcnc.org/docs/html/ladder/classi...tml#_realtime_module"

I agree with Andy. if you don't have enough allocated - things start to act goofy.

Thanks for the tips but it was the servo period that was the problem, at 1250000 (real time kernel) it work but if I raise it to 1400000, then the problem with classic ladder occurs.

But why?

I guess its because it does not have time to do what it has to do before the next period starts, am I right?

That would make sense if shortening the period caused a problem, but you seem to be saying that lengthening it was the problem.

But, why 1,250,000nS anyway? The normal default is 1,000,000.

It might be that your PC is sub-optimally configured then. Or simply just unsuitable. What does the latency test show?

Yes well I had a really hard time to get it to work with the 7i80 and real time kernel, I got alot of help with that in another thread, partly from you I think :)
At 1250000 it works fine but I get the latency error once in a while but it does not seem to affect anything, is it possible to turn it off?
