Ah yes that seems to be my first issue, I just set it all up on a fresh linuxcnc install and got past that issue. Results from my "ip a" show that the interface is configured to 10.10.10.2 as it should be per the network interfaces file. Linuxcnc then errors out on something different now but it's down to configuration in my HAL file as everything for configuring the card is working! Will post an update once I get the rest of it working. Thanks everyone for the swift help.
