I woukd also guess that the 600 series EXE cards will work. I don't remember what exact numbers are best, but be aware that there are different ones with different interpolation ratios. I think it's the 612 or something like that which have higher interpolation. I got the one with high interpolation ratio and now have .2 micron resolution with normal 20 um scales. I thik the interpolation rate was 50 on the ones I have. And the price on the good ones are not that much higher than the more common ones. So it's definately worth getting them!
And remember that your encoders will plugg dirrectly in to these cards, but you'd have to make your own solution if you make something yourself with IC-haus chips. And those connectors are not cheap! So very convenient and fast to get used EXE cards.

I'd need over 50 of them. Plus if found the wiring diagram somewhere.

Hi Bari.
May I ask if you've ever found a good alternative for the Heidenhain EXE converters??
You needed a lot as you wrote... I presume you didn't buy 50 EXE's....
I need 4, with preferably an 10x of 25x interpolation..
Kind regards, Joseph

Hi Beovoxo. If this message was meant for me... I've bought 2 Exe 601, but don't need themnanymore.
I bought new 1um cales with differential RS422 signals.
If you need the Heidenhain 601 converters, the are available.
Kind regards, Jos
