Or maybe www.eiemaskin.se/produkter/maskinskydd/ who seem to have the Arnold catalogues on their web site.

www.arno-arnold.de/de/
Nice! They have a pretty interesting catalogue , showing different end connections and guides.

I'm pretty sure EIE sells to companies only (probably a better chance of being able to buy directly from Arno Arnold!), but thanks for the tip! It's absolutely worth checking them out.

Three hours of wobble?
Seriously, what are the units of the indicator?

Is it completely true at the chuck? 3-jaws are rarely exactly centred.

I'm trying to get the tailstock in the center with the headstock, this is only rough right now, I have to get a better indicator holder because this one doesn't hold the magnet. fi30 adapter to mt3 will go in the tailstock. I certainly checked the headstock (some Chinese version k12 also with mt3 adapter) the accuracy indicator is 0.01, I mean 1mm for full circle, and now it shows on the headstock chuck and in the middle and end of this rod 0.2-0.25mm, which is satisfactory for woodworking, but I will try to improve head chuck on the spot, to reduce the deviation

Put the indicator on the spindle and clock the tailstock bore.

That way you take the chuck and the test rod out of the equation. (even if the chuck is eccentric and the spindle is bent).

The spindle rotational axis is always a straight line unless things are very wrong (like egg-shaped bearing balls or variable-thickness inner bearing rings.
