Hi folks,

New here 1st go at building a cnc.
I have picked up some cheap drives and breakout board and couple of motors.

I have x and z axis assembled for a lathe test and have my motors running as required using stepconf.

Once I switch to machine, clear estop and switch on, I can't get the motors to respond.
I load and run a program on screen with dro changing values etc.

I did have it working and was messing around trying to set working range and zero the tool to reference the cnc position to physical position.
Somehow during this I killed the step output pins from my bob ???.

Have setup the machine again using new bob and drives but same issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Can you post the hal and ini files from the config folder.

Edit: looking at the the picture of the hal file it looks like you are loading a sim "simulation"

Thanks that could make sense as it is doing everything but moving lol.

Here are the files requested, I do see a sim_hardware.hal file

#EDIT -
Re-ran stepconf to create a new file and unticked the create hardware simulation.
All works as it should. :)

Like i said im new to this lol.

Thanks for your help.

In case you or any one else need to know how to fix this, look on the start page for
'create simulated hardware configuration' checkbox -uncheckit
