See the attached pictures.  Everything looks good in Vcarve Pro and on LinuxCNC console but the retangle on the right printed in the
wrong location.  I have another job on the CNC with same issue, looks good in Vcarve Pro and LinuxCNC Gui but when I start the job
it homes and then moves to the wrong location to start.  I stoped this and double checked everything in Vcarve re-exported toolpath and
loaded it into LinuxCNC and its doing the same thing.  I can send a video of the current job if that would help.

Here are the files.  I have a new job that I am working that looks good in VCarve and LinuxCNC but when go to machine the spindle is starting in the wrong location for the X axis.  It should be at the edge of the work and instead its about 4in to the right (Y axis is correct)

I do not have any offsets set in Vcarve.

In LinuxCNC I'm using G54 zero the position of the work piece

Are all cuts made with the same tool?

It is possible that an X or Y offset has found its way into the tool table, but that would offset all cuts for that tool by the same amount.

I have checked the gcode in my sim, and it seems correct. You see the location for X0 / Y0. In your gcode is no work coordinatesystem (G54 to G59.3) set, but by default it is mostly G54. If you jog your tool to the desired starting point and touch off G54 to X0 / Y0. Thats it

Thanks you for your response. The machine hit the hard limit on this job, this should not happen. It's setup with soft limit. I cut the material down an inch from 48in to 47in, and was able to run the job. I'm going to go back and double check my hard and soft limits. When it hit the hard limits it was when I interrupted the job and homed the machine.

The gcode you attached does not seem to match the part you showed in your picture. The slanted cutouts are not part of it so it seems to me that it must be something you do in between running different gcode files.
