Use the 7i96s card to control a single axis +/- 10volt servo motor.

Hello, it will be possible to use the analog output port of the 7i96s card to control a single axis servo motor setup, the driver needs +/- 10volt plus 7i96s encoder.

Another question, could someone give me some information about these CMC drivers model c44-34509?

Probably yes, but only in one direction, and will need 10V provided to it.
Might work for spindle...

It might be possible to get +-10V out of the 7I96S but its a bit
ugly since you would require a split +-10V supply and you
would end up with -10V at power up. A more expensive but
better solution would be to add a 7I83, but that's overkill
with 6 +-10V channels

Thanks for the answers. To be honest, I'm not sure if the SIG 1+ and SIG 1- control inputs on that CMC digital driver are PWM CW and CCW or Step/dir instead of +/- 10 volts. image missing /media/kunena/emoticons/sad.png Any suggestions on how to test this would be greatly appreciated.
