Hey Guys,

I´ve bought a probe for my mill and installed the versa probescreen v1 in gmoccapy. I´ve used this source (forum.linuxcnc.org/48-gladevcp/46467-pro...-v1-for-python3-gtk3) because I´m using LinuxCNC 2.9.1. I don´t want to use v2 cause I have a lot of things programmed for the toolchange in my .hal file I don´t want to change. I just like to probe xyz and auto zero.

After probing the probe is not at the corner of x and y and the zero point is offsettet.
Similar issue for probing in Z direction. Zero is not set at the surface.

Is there a missunderstanding of function or is it wrong?
I´ve uploaded a video of the issue. Maybe you´ll see something

I know this is a little late, but I would just like to say that that is really strange.

The probing looks like it works, but obviously the software is not cooperating.

Thanks for confirming it´s a bit strange :)
I´ve now tried again the newer probescreen v.2.9 where I didn´t connect the toolchange pins (this was the initial reason for using the older screen v1). It seems to gerneral work, too. But with a strange behavior like in v1.

Probing in Z seems to work fine. When I touch Probing from X-, Y- the machine starts moving in X+ direction until it prompts "finished without probing..". It should move in X- first, Z down, and then X+ for touching.. Crazy behavior.
In my case it starts directly moving X+ without moving Z..

I allready checkt the macro files. everything seems to be okay. any idea how to debug it?
