Yes, this is one of the reasons why I ditched Rufus and now exclusively use and recommend balena etcher on all platforms

Ventoy is a different beast, but it does simplify everything USB, all it takes is just a simple copy of the ISO file. That is it, nothing more.
But installing it might just end up sideways, it does warn a lot to be careful, and takes about 1-2 minutes to install.
I use it a lot, daily, on many USB, SSD and NVME, a lot....saves a lot of time for testing and installing operating systems, works even for WinXP and Win10, and a lot of Linux distros.

I've tried a number of tools and the only one that has never let me down is balena etcher. It even works with raspberry pi images!@RODW,

I might have not been clear on my previous post, Ventoy and Rufus are not the same thing nor do they serve the same purpose"
Ventoy = bootable USB drives, install once, use as you see fit just by copying and ISO files to it, multipe ISO and IMG files supported, all on the same USB and all bootable from a menu
Rufus = Balena etcher = tools to write an ISO/IMG file to a USB = single ISO/IMG

Ventoy really shines on PCs
I use it like this, and I still have room for other distros when I need them, but it is mainly my Swiss Army knife USB for tools.
/ISO/Rescue/SystemRescue.iso
/ISO/Rescue/Clonezilla.iso
/ISO/Rescue/GParted.iso
/ISO/Rescue/Rescuezilla.iso
/ISO/Boot/SuperGrub2Disk.iso
/ISO/Windows/Win11.iso
/ISO/Linux/Ubuntu-Live.iso
/ISO/Hardware/Memtest86+.iso
