Prototype new website for Linux CNC: Feedback please

I suspect the release of 2.8 is the biggest thing being dealt with right now/

I am all for making some minor changes to make it more appealing and more informative by adding some pictures or videos, but not sure exactly what would be suitable for new users.
I also do not like those ready made web stuff as all that i looked at some 7 months ago will report back to their developers and removing that is hard to do without breaking the CMS. Also it requires the use of at least 3 different service providers, making it " not my website".
