Hi all :)

I just installed LinuxCNC Debian 2.8.2 and I have some difficulties to get the network to function. Internet is working, I'm trying to connect my Mesa 7i94 but nothing happens when I press the button "Edit connections". I've tried restart the computer.

You need to edit /etc/network/interfaces, network managers don't have a clue...

The board is connected and the jumpers on the Mesa are as default.

Default jumpers would set the 7I94 IP address to 192.168.1.121

I cant find 7i94 in pncconf when I try to setup.
Im not sure why.. Can I add 7i94 to pncconf or should I do something else?

pncconf does not support the 7I94 but you should be able to create a configuration for a 7I92
that will work if you change the card name in the ini file

(select the "Use INI substitution for Mesa board names" option)

Thanks, I got a little bit further now.
There is several options to choose firmware, I'm not sure which one to use.
It seems like the setup I made using 7i92 and changing the INI file to 7i94 is for stepper motors.
I have an 7i77 analog board connected to my 7i94 and my machine is using +-10v to control the servomotors.
