Setting up a Mesa 7i95T was created by Ringardy
Hi,
i am currently trying to setup my Mesa 7i95T but so far i hit a wall.
Problem is even after following a video to set it up via pncconf using the 7i76e, i get no working results.
The video i am reffering to :
Check the images to what im reffering to.
Perhaps there are files out for the 7i95T.
And yes i did check the forum and tried to update the pncconf but it wont let me.
Kind regrads

The error shows a basic communication issue.
1. Is the 7I95T jumpered for a 10.10.10.10 IP address
2. What does the command:
ip a
(typed in a terminal window) return?

Your PC has the wrong IP address of 10.10.10.10, it should be 10.10.10.11 or 10.10.10.111

Whatever you used to set the IP to 10.10.10.10 , use that and edit the last number to 11

Left picture NO, back to 10 <<< that is the Mesa card address
Right picture YES, that is the network card address inside your PC
Disconnect and connect the cable again for it to work.

ok that worked.
But it gives me a different error now, i do understand what it wants from me but thats it (total beginner here Sorry)
Debug file information:
Note: Using POSIX realtime
./Sindre_Mill.hal:86: Signal 'x-pos-fb' can not add OUT pin 'hm2_7i95.0.encoder.00.position', it already has OUT pin 'hm2_7i95.0.stepgen.00.position-fb'

File is attached
if there is any other file you kneed let me know
Thanks

Are you intending on using encoder feedback?
If not (and this is an open loop step/dir system), you should not connect
the encoder pins ( like hm2_7i95.0.encoder.00.position ) to the axis feedback
signals (like x-pos-fb )
And vice versa, if you ARE intending to use encoder feedback, you should not connect
the steogen pins ( like hm2_7i95.0.stepgen.00.position ) to the axis feedback
signals (like x-pos-fb )
