Hallo AlexDoran,

I do not know why, but the problem seems to be related to "Case Sensitive letter handling". IMHO emc task is not doing a good job here.

The error is:

emc/task/emctask.cc 411: interp_error: File not open
as you mentioned.
The problem is the same, using the macro button or entering in the MDI window O<ZProbe> call

Changing the name of the macro to be: z_probe.ngc with the content being the same as in the original file

O<z_probe> sub G10 L20 P0 Z0 G38.2 Z-10 F100 G10 L20 P0 Z19.14 G0 Z20.14 G38.2 Z-1.5 F25 G10 L20 P0 Z19.14 G0 Z25 O<z_probe> endsub M2

solves the file not open problem.

This is not related to gmoccapy, and I will open a bug issue for that.
Hope you can live with the work around.

Hi newbynobi,

Thank you very much for taking the time to Investigate that for me - I'll be honest I would never figured that out!! Also good to know it wasn't me being dumb, I will make sure everything I do from here is lower case, I am kind of OCD with cases but needs must!
