Hi everyone. I have a built a laser table and want to control it with linuxCNC. I have all of the motion and input/outputs working great. i can test fire the laser with the spindle and cut vector paths by using m3 m5. Now i would like to set it up to raster as well I found 2x_laser-master from jv4779 on github but it seems that it was built a few versions ago. the readme install sections says "based on an installed copy of the LinuxCNC 2.5 Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Live CD". I have 2.7.9 installed i did try to follow the directions but i ended with an error saying "comp: command not found" i googled that and found that i needed the dev package so i checked in to that and i already had the latest version.

So the questions are does anyone have an idea of hoy to install it on 2.7.9? Or does anyone have another solution to laser rastering that works in 2.7.9?

Thanks in advance for any help

To avoid a name conflict the LinuxCNC component compiler was renamed from "comp" to "halcompile"
