ProbeBasic backplot issue?

I actually had already added G54. attached is my current ini and 3 hal files. Also of note, there is no blank.ngc on my system that i can find.

Found a solution: in my main hal file, I took out everything that wasn't axis or spindle and moved it to post-gui at the end. Now the error is gone. I just forgot to check if it backplots and if the offset is checked. I'll check that tomorrow.

One thing you probably want to change is the following line in your ini file:INCREMENTS = .1in .05in .01in .005in .001in .0005in .0001in

To
INCREMENTS = JOG .01in .001in .0001in

What mpg are you using? And are you using an atc?

I haven't started tackling the JOG yet - except that I have turned on keyboard jogging (which didn't work properly with the VTK error). Jogging is probably next - and cutting the control panel. I am using an ATC, I think I have the toolchange pretty well worked out now. For an MPG I'm using a generic 100ppr mpg, and I have 3 encoders for spindle, rapid, and feedrate overrides. I haven't started tackling those on the machine yet.

your config file had alot of configurations for things not being used then it seems
you may want to clean things out to the bare minimum and add back in one piece at a time. having so many unused configuration bits can cause a plethora of headaches and conflicts.
