Winch style cnc scaling??? was created by mt92
I have my cutting machine all done and made a few test cuts and noticed that the Y and B axis moves faster than X and A. I test cut a square and it is very close in Y,B(up and down) but way too small in X,A. I have looked thru my ini file and it looks correct.
It almost seems like a kinematics error but I looked at the measurements?
Any Ideas?
Thanks
Mike

Is your home position set correctly? 4 of the measurements are from the winches to the home position. You need to home the machine to that position (so that the coordinates are zero) or the kinematics calculations will all be wrong. I rather assume that you have no home switches, so this would involve jogging the machine to marks on the table then pressing the "Home" button in the interface. It almost seems like a kinematics error but I looked at the measurements?
