I down loaded

on my windows machine, checked the md5
Burned it to a DVD and it stop at detecting network hardware.
Any thoughts

Let the computer sit in the spot that I thought it was stuck for about 30-45 minutes and it finally keep going, so it is installed now. need to get the rest setup now.

I added
deb buildbot.linuxcnc.org/ wheezy scratch-rt
deb-src buildbot.linuxcnc.org/ wheezy scratch-rt
to synaptic and when I press reload, it tells me that the source and binary are 403 forbidden.
Am I missing something?

I got home from work and I was able to load scratch-rt. The simulator seems to be working, now I just need to get it hooked up to some motors; may be some research to refresh my memory on that part, it has been a while.

You probably want to start with the ldelta rather than ldelta_demo config to connect to real hardware.

Can I use StepConf to create the files for axis-es?
Example create a new config with stepconf called my-mill that sets all of the lpt pins, directions, speeds, etc; and then copy the .hal file to the ldelta dir and change the name?

I don't know if Stepconf has been updated in the JA branch to create JA-format configs.
Give it a try, see what happens.

I have finally been able to get back to this project, and I have run into errors when trying to actually hook up hardware.
I am running stepper motors with gecko drives via the lpt port. I modified the config files created by the step conf wizard but they bring up an error page and EMC wont run.
Any suggestions?
