Hi all,

I was able to make a CNC thanks to this forum and Linux CNC. Many guys share informations and I really appreciate it. English is not my mother language and sorry for mistakes but I would also bring my stone and help other guy like me so I decide to film what I do , more easy for me:

You will find different film about the machine driven by linux cnc, and the way I manufacture parts.

Feel free to ask me anyhing, I will try to help ;)

Very nice machine. Do you have much flex using belts to drive the axes? I use toothed belts on my plasma machine but was concerned about using them for a machine that has side loads...

Hi BigJohnT

Regarding timing belt, I do not have concern with. The lash I gage is below 1/100 of mm. But I had a concern at the begining to find the appropriate tension on it. To much tension makes the machine bends and lost its true position.

So I had to make some testings with different tension and I mesure on a back and return movement the loss position until I have 1/100 mm ;)
