Mitsubishi servos was created by Leon82
What is the strength of this servo. Are the torque ratings different from a stepper motor?
.
Mitsubishi HC-KFS053D 50W
Here is a link for some specs

It says .12 ft pounds. How does that compare to a 540 inch oz stepper? Is there a different size standard for servos
Thanks.

Well 0.12 ft lbs is 23 inch oz's so it continuous torque rating or the servo is less
the 5% of the 540 oz/inc stepper
Note that the servo may have a peak torque of 100 inch oz or so but only for a few seconds. (This is not really unexpected since a 50W servo is _very_ small)

Ok, thanks. I figured that would be the case, just wanted a little sanity check.
Its not going to work for what I want.
