2m982 stepper driver settings for emc2 wizard was created by garymo
Hi Can anyone help me with the above stepper driver 2m982 7.2 amp settings for stepconf
i am after are
step time?
Step Space?
Direction Hold?
Direction Setup?
I have a latency of about 40000
The driver has settings for 2-64 microstep resolution and the motors are 1.8 deg currently set at 2000 steps per rev
Any help would be much appreciated

these are popular stepper drives , distributed under many names and are quite generic , these settings work for me
setp stepgen.1.steplen 1
setp stepgen.1.stepspace 0
setp stepgen.1.dirhold 15200
setp stepgen.1.dirsetup 15200
setp stepgen.1.steplen 1
setp stepgen.1.stepspace 0
setp stepgen.1.dirhold 15200
setp stepgen.1.dirsetup 15200
