Hello to all.
I am totaly new to cnc. I have just installed the axmister sieg x2 with TB6560 driver board and 3 NEMA23 motors.
Everything seems to work fine but.... I tried on windows xp the KCAM 4 but nothing...
So I desided to work with EMC 2 in order to make those motors work and see some action.
But... again I do not know how to configure it.
I did the steps as in the manual of the EMC requires but nothing...seems that I do something wrong.
So I send you my driver board pin setup in an scanned file.
I hope you can help me
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!

It's really impossible to help if you don't provide at least the minimum information.

1 What you did.
2 What you expected to happen.
3 What actually happened

Other Info Needed

What version of EMC2 you are running.
If referencing the manuals (we have several) which one your looking at and what section.

You do get bonus points for including the pin out however you don't say if you followed that or what???

What is an "it"?

But... again I do not know how to configure it.

Again what manual, what steps?

I did the steps as in the manual of the EMC requires but nothing

Please take this as an effort to help you...

I suggest to use the stepconf wizzard to create a configuration according your ppt pinout.
Make sure to set the clock pulse width >= 30000 (20000 could also work from my experience) for the TB6560.

Then folllow John's advices ;)

Ok.
Well the stepper drive seems to work fine as I used the jumbers that the manufacturer advice in the manual of the controler.
So I managed to use them and move the xyz axis manually from the controller.
Now I want to do it from my pc. I want for start to use the EMC in order to move the xyz axis.
I tried to configure the EMC2 stepconf but there are so many parameters that I do not even know what they mean and what to fill there.
So here are the main screens that I have problem with.

I think you need to spend some quality time with the manuals. Start by reading the Getting Started Guide it is very short.

When you build a CNC machine as a systems integrator you have to know some things about the parameters in order to do the basic setup even using the Stepconf Wizard.

If you have a specific question about something I'm sure you will get your answer. So far you have not asked a question...

Well I have a pretty good question.
In my driver stepper controller diagram you can see an x y z enable pin...
What is the equivelant on the EMC stepconf drop down menu ?
I can not find anything similar.
Thank you!
