PINOUT SERIAL DB 25 E DB 9 was created by clayd_lopunk
Hi guys,
i would try to install linuxcnc on my cnc. I have to find the pinout of my serial cables connected to the cnc.
The cables are db25 and db9, they are connected to a control board that I have to bypass to exit on linuxcnc.
How can I find the configuration of my serial, I have verified but in the wiring diagram I am missing the pinouts.
Anyone know a software to monitor them from the original control? Or another way?

LinuxCNC does not work with serial for machine control, it is way to slow and no real time capabilities.
Get us some pictures of the control board and drives and wiring, most probably there are other ways of using it.

xD sorry Tommy but in the wire diagram it is expressly written that it cannot be shared. The control is of an owner company. I will try to upload some photos with the connection cables.
