Hello,
I will also describe my experience here to see if it will help someone.
I installed CW8060 stepper motor controllers for the 8.7 Nm motors of my milling machine.
I tried to operate the engines for a week, but nothing!!!
Then I found the post from 2013 that can be read in the attached picture. (My parts have also been in the closet for about 10 years...)
I changed the CW and CP terminals and everything works!
(...the label on the controller was printed in reverse...)
