Can anyone recommend a water proof key board / touch pad? I have seen a few examples on ebay .
however are their one's to avoid ? Are their examples that are well worth the above $100 us dollar price tag?
I am looking for the one's with the touch pad and keyboard all in one like the Seal Shield

Thanks BeagleBrainz. I didn't use to either . I am actually a big fan of the track ball mouse like the Logitech M570.

The only problem is eventually junk ends up getting in the ball socket an messing things up. So while I am building a computer for
my lathe project I am trying to figure out what keyboard / mouse setup to utilize. Or if I should go with a waterproof
keyboard and a touch screen monitor instead.

It is optical so I don't know about oil. It seems to make it through fried chicken OK at my desk. I use it everyday.

I am going to test this as soon as my bluetooth adapter is coming:

keystogo

small, good haptics, wireless (bluetooth, impact on latency untested as of writing), splash and dust proof to a reasonable degree for a hobby workshop.

Mouse / trackball: I am very open for suggestions. There is a company in germany that makes waterproof mice for medical use: >expensive< and not wireless.

that looks like a really nice keyboard. I will have to keep that one in mind. It looks like you can even get them in track ball version.
