Hello all, great forum, a lot of useful information.
I also have a question, I will need to establish a remote connection between Windows and Linux. There is a lot of information about this on the internet, but I am curious what methods do you use and what do you think are the most reliable?

For local network, use VNC OR TightVNC.

I have been using NoMachine, and liking it a lot.
It will bring audio over too, and has file transfer capabilities.
And yes, it is free!

Works on Mac, Windows, and of course Linux. There are Android and iOS solutions too, I can use my iPad as a touch screen

Hello! There are many methods that work well for all Linux systems except Ubuntu, which already has a built-in remote desktop tool. But in any case, as far as I remember, there are such methods: RDP method, VNC method and others. You can see more details here www.helpwire.app/blog/linux-remote-desktop/ where the pros and cons of the methods are described and you can choose the most suitable one for you.
