The software/Gateware is open source; as for the hardware, it’s up to each individual. It can certainly be closed source and used commercially.

 

Ofcourse I already have the TangoBOB.  My post was only to see if Tim's board was not a comercial product.  It is wess designed your dedication is commendable.

Hi,I am trying to add a 16DI/16DO Modbus RTU module (N4D3E16) via an RS-485 transceiver on the tangnano9k on RioCore.When running fpga compilation, Verilog synthesis fails in Gowin EDA with the following error:

okok, can reproduce it: ERROR  (CT2000) : "/mnt/data2/src/riocore/Output/Tangbob/Gateware/fpga0/pins.cst":69 | 'syntax error' near token 'mbus0'
