RPI 5 has a dedicated I/O chip was created by Cncninja
Now that the RPI 5 has a dedicated I/O chip I was wondering if it could do better Step gen like the Beagel board could?

Interesting idea, but I think maybe not, it seems more "ingrained" in the normal operation of the RPi5. The PRUs on the BBB are essentially 2 micro controllers not required for normal operation of the BBB.
