audio_alerts component was created by cmorley
I was playing with audio playback for PNCconf a while back and today built a sample HAL component to test it with.
It's kinda cool to play back your own recordings too..
though maybe other would be interested...
Just has a bark and a click available but is easy to change.

Neat idea, to date I have been just using "beep" or a number of beeps to indicate a change when pushing a button and not having a clear view of the monitor.
Will have to give this a try soon.
