I was doing a test that I saw in the turorial on thcad connections that a 9v battery is used and the value of 26,480 is obtained to verify the operation of the same I obtain the same value but in negative, do I have any errors?

Should be OK as i am sure there is an entry in HAL to set the scale to negative, so turns that negative value to positive for use for THC.

try something like this in your hal file (adjusted for your 7i96)
# --- 7i76e ENCODER SETUP ---
setp hm2_7i76e.0.encoder.00.scale -1
setp hm2_7i76e.0.encoder.00.counter-mode 1
# --- 7i76e ENCODER SETUP ---
setp hm2_7i76e.0.encoder.00.scale -1
setp hm2_7i76e.0.encoder.00.counter-mode 1

Thank you very much Rod for your help, now I have another problem with thc speed, when I cut at low speeds there is no problem but when I increase the speed it seems that the z axis does not move fast and sometimes it hits the material, I could help with that?
