I still get the same error:
Pin ' pyvcp.fans-button.disable' does not exisst

I get this error because missing
<disable_pin>True</disable_pin> 
in the .xml file. I tested it in the sim and it was working as i expected.

You have this entry in the MPCNC.ini file. All the content of '20-stepper_cooling.hal' should be moved to this POSTGUI_HALFILE (99-postgui.hal), because this loads after axis is started.



POSTGUI_HALFILE = 99-postgui.hal



and this entry removed or commented
'HALFILE = 20-stepper_cooling.hal'

I checked in the simulation again, and I prepared the  '99-postgui.hal' for you, as some modification was necessary, to control the fan icon. As on my system it is running, thats all i can do.

Here is program running
 


 All idle
