I currently have my screen and keyboard on a semi-articulated arm that is bolted to the wall near the tailstock end of the lathe (SM series 2000)

That location tends to work better for me than when I had it up on the headstock end.

I need to move the wall mount and I'm thinking I'd like to see what others have for their setup incase something jumps out at me rather than what I have now

So post up whatever/however you have your monitor/keypad/mpg for your lathes

This is my concept

And how far as I've got.

All the hardware attached to the monitor mount so there are no weld marks on the enclosure

How are you planning on mounting?
I'm just using a normal screen/keyboard (nowhere near as nice a setup as you've got going there) but need to find a different arm or something to hold it since I needed to remove my old setup (fairly barbaric)

I will just have 4 holes on the back and use a VESA mount. Another option might be to hang it from above. There are commercially available HMI mounting systems that do this and let it swivel

I have thought about having a seperate keyboard tray that mounts to the bottom and use a combo keyboard and trackball. It would just bolt on.

If I sat my butt on that I'd probably come up with better g-code than I normally do...

VESA arm mount bolted to a panel on the back of the headstock.
MPGs mounted on the saddle.

(Ignore the keyboard, that lives in the house and is brought into the workshop only as needed)
