I have a 1.5KW, 220V Soyan Power VFD on my Lathe. I want to add a brake resistor as the spindle will not slow down fast enough for CSS.
I can not find any specs on the maximum braking curren this VFD can provide. Does anyone else use this VFD with a resistor and if so can you give me an idea on resistance and wattage you use?

Not the same VFD, or the same manufacturer, but my HuangYang manual lists a 100 Ohm / 300W resistor for their 1.5kW / 220V inverter.
