Mesa 7I32 with 3x20/7I68 was created by NicoP
Hello,
I want to operate a stepper motor with a 7I32 card from MESA electronics. The bit patterns for turning the motor should come from a 3x20 anything I/O card on a 7I68 board.
Is there any "*.hal" file that meets the requirement?
If not, can anybody give me some advice, which hal modules should be used (PWM or stepgen)
and how they should be parameterized?
Can PNCconf create an appropriate configuration?
I installed the 10.04 Lucid Lynx Live CD and did an update of EMC to version 2.4.7.
Best regards
Nico

The 7I32 it not really supported by EMC so I would not suggest using it for a EMC controlled application. I would instead suggest small gecko (G251)j or other step/dir drives
Its is supported by our SoftDC firmware for running small step motors in a closed loop configuration (this requires 30-50KHz control loop operation which is not practical with EMC)
