5i23 with 7i33 and smart serial firmware question was created by clkeck1
Im getting ready to fire up the new system
its a 5i23 running a 7i33 and a 7i44 (which has 2to 7i64s and a 7i70)
Is there a svss4_8 firmware for that setup?

What version of LinuxCNC are you running?

if you run linuxcnc from the command line what version does it print?
I'm still running 2.5pre2 and it works fine here (just tried)
