Power supplies was created by jeffie_3
I have a servo driver 30A8T it has a 80 volt limit. I have a 90 volt motor. So I under if I stay below 80 volts everything will be fine. Is there any recommendations on power supplies? Buy? Build?

Thank you John. They have a large selection. Now that I have looked at that. What is the difference between regulated and unregulated power supplies?

With an UNregulated supply, if line voltage
rises or dips the DC output rises or dips about the same percentage.
But, the big bulk capacitor in the typical UNregulated supply is actually
good, it is a reservoir to store any energy coming back from the motor
when the drive decelerates it. A regulated supply generally has no
way to handle this returned energy and it may cause the voltage to
surge and damage the drive, and/or the power supply.
