Hi

I am new to LinuxCNC ..
Did install and run the first test and now i want to put some small steppers on with a little board with L298 on.

I have been searching the internet for 2 days now for a schematic how to connect and how to set up hal ...

can anyone help ?

That driver does not have current limiting so be careful using it. You will need to work with 5V or it will burn, depending on the motor attached to it.
As for using it, serch for tommylight on this forum, i did an how to build the cheapest drivers possible for use with Linuxcnc, and there you have the configs ready made, they do work with the driver you have.

You also have info on doing current limiting that you have to use with your drive to protect them.
