Hello,
I have a problem with a 5i25 7i77 config.
I can see the encoders in hal, but when I try out encoder 0 it does not count or anything.
Now if I try out encoder 1 , then encoder 1 and encoder 0 count simultan...
Encoder 2 does not work, too.
Any ideas ?
Thank you !
Rene

Hmm looks like the encoder muxing is not working, possible causes:
wrong bitfile in 5I25
bad / loose cable
bad 5I25 (bad encmux output)
bad 7I77 (bad encmux input circuit)

Thank you.
When I received the 5i25 +7i77 I needed to flash the bitfile 5i25_7i77x2.
I already had about 5 of these cards and never had to flash them before.
I used this link to download the bitfiles:
www.mesanet.com/software/parallel/5i25.zip
The flashing process worked well.
Before flashing the card was not available in hal.
Geeets Rene
