Its manual says 1.5 uSec pulse time minimum and 5 uSec direction setup time
direction hold time is not specified
Since direction setup and hold times can be longer that the minimum with little effect on performance
And the pulse width minimum is 1.5 usec I would set the timings like this:
Step time = 2000
Step space = 2000
Dir setup 10000
Dir hold 10000
