sserial error

sserial error was created by thang

When i run linuxcnc via halcmd to test sserial with commands:

File Name: sserial_halcmd.txt
File Size:166 B

i get the error:

File Name: sserial_error.txt
File Size:3.08 KB

But when i creat ini and hal file to run, it works, any idea why this error happens? One thing i see difference here is name of period.

File Name: 5i25_dorna...5-17.hal
File Size:2.13 KB

File Name: 5i25_dorna...5-17.ini
File Size:5.38 KB

What happens if you switch the order of read and write in the test hal?

Typically the cycle is read-calculate-write.
