When fastening the 7I77 to the control panel, do you have to fasten every hole for grounding purposes, or can I just use the 4 outside ones and 2 in the middle of the board?

It's not for grounding purposes. More for support for the connectors.

When mounted on these din rail mounts, there is no connection to ground.
These I get from JT. mesaus.com 3.00 each.
