1 cup of oil on my Mesa card was created by jonch919

				Hello,
My dear son just poured 1 small cup of lubricating oil all over my 7i76.
What do I do now?
I've cleaned of the excess, but the card is still drenched in oil.
How do I clean it?
Ultrasonic cleaner plus some kind cleaning fluid?
Any tips are welcomed!

Don't use an ultrasonic cleaner it will likely damage the quartz crystals
What I would do is remove all connectors, drench the card in pure liquid dish
washing detergent and take a gentle brush (like a paintbrush) and
brush all areas.
Do the same to the connectors, then wash in warm/hot water until all traces of
detergent are gone. You may have to repeat this if you see an oil film when most
of the detergent is gone.
When clean and all traces of oil and soap are gone, shake off most of the water and then
dry in a ~150 F oven for about 1 hour

Do you mean regular washing-up liquid? Like this.
