Thank you, I will grab my PICkit at work and reprogram it.
Is it fine if i'm soldering a connector on the back ?
Square pin is number 1 (VPP/MCLR ) ?

You can solder a header, but its not required, you can just insert a header
and apply gentle sideways force to guarantee contact of all pins while programming (this is how we program them)

Programing connector pin-out:
1 VPP (Square pad)
2 3.3V
3 PGD
4 PGC
5 GND

I reprogramed the DSPIC, but with no luck: CR16 is no more lighting up, and CR15 doesn't show green either.
I left all programming option by default on MPLab 8.92, just powering the DSPIC by the PICkit3.
While looking at the back of the board I've seen one of the soldering pin of W1 has started to melt.
Something must have fallen between 7I77 and the cover, making a short circuit between +24Vdc and ground.
The fuse (2 amps) should have blown, but didn't.
Anyway I guess I'm good for a RMA, I've tried mostly anything I can do or think of.

Thank you for helping me PCW.

Hello there,
Does somebody have a schematic for 7I77 ?
I can't get a hold at somebody at Mesa, it's been a full month since I've sent multiples mail but with only 2 answers telling me they are too busy.
I would like to repair this card, but with no schematic it will be hard. I could do some retro engineering, but it would save me some time if someone have.

My first guess is a dead DSpic.
A quick look on the card:

Power side:
A step down regulator (A8499) is providing lower voltage (3.3V I guess) for the dspic, input multiplexer and output driver.
A self and a capacitor is filtering the lowered voltage (very similar to the datesheet)

Input side:
Multiplexer (74LV4051D) are connected on the dspic on one side, the other side is sensing the I/O field with some resistors to lower the voltage.
VCC for 74LV4051D is 7Vdc max.

Output side:
NCV7608 is the one (two in fact) who's doing output, controlled by a SPI bus from the DSPIC.

I will grab my voltmeter tomorrow to check the output of the voltage regulator.
There isn't a lot of components, it should be possible to fix this.

So, I've checked all voltage, everything is powered by 3.3V, even the RS232 isolator (3211).
I suspect a communication issue between the dspic and the fpga.
I will order a new dspic change it and reprogram it. I'm betting it should solve this issue.

If something was damaged on the 5V side it may be more likely there is an issue on that side rather than the DSPIC side of the isolation.

Also if you were able to program the DSPIC and didn't get a red LED, (but it was stuck red before) that suggests some problem with the programming setup, not the DSPIC )

I can try to reprogram it again, to see if something change.
Also, I'm wondering if the analog output and servo enable is there ?
I can't see any 7i77 related pins in my previous output.
Maybe it's linked to my issue.

So it seems my programming was bad. After soldering some pins on the card I was able to reprogram it. CR16 is now lit in red.
It doesn't solve my issue, but I think you are right PCW, the dspic seems to be fine.
I'm still stuck on why this card doesn't work.
Any help would save me of buying a new set of 6i25 and 7i77.

Can you try starting the card from the command line?
halrun
loadrt hostmot2
loadrt hm2_pci
loadrt threads
addf hm2_5i25.0.read thread1
addf hm2_5i25.0.write thread1
start
show pin

You _should_ see something change on the 7i77 when you type"start" as that should start petting the watchdog.

The "show pin" will show if the 7i77 is being detected at all.
