Strange issue with mesa 7i96 after machine go to endstop

If you created the hal file with pncconf, it should have used PID and stepgens in the velocity
mode as this is much more robust with regard to host servo thread jitter than the built in position mode.

Sorry for not reply before but i was very busy and i have destroyed my debian instal playing bootloader eprom update for usb boot. (i have only play a little with pid velocity but have joint following error)

So i have restart with fresh debian (many many different attempt) but i have now a new problem, all stepper does not move anymore, 2 relay controled by mist flood does not work.

I can't test spindle because i have dismantled the rotor, but i think regarding to 7i83 output that work fine.

Input work fine activateing endstop manually stop the machine with correponding message X enstop activer.

Maybee this is due to inconsistent eprom for boot rpi4 but i have no idea what do to now. (try all i can and refash eprom with old boot without success)

Hi

Attached my whole config.

Try to reflash 7i96 change nothing.

I suspect a linux problem or a 7i96 hw problem but i does not understand why they append after debian crash and with all fresh install. (following gnispel tuto or using the recent debian64 image from the forum or the fresh sd card image for phillc54)

I'm completly lost, but i think next step is test dir output from 7i96 and try to set manually ouptup for relay.

Did you lose your real time kernel after the crash?
What does a latency test show?

I have try unlinkp and
halcmd setp hm2_7i96.0.ssr.00.out-00 1
halcmd setp hm2_7i96.0.ssr.00.out-00 2

does nothing

Testing 5v from step dir when ask G1Z0F5 and also G1Z-300F5 i found allways 0v

IMO all input and sserial (7i83) work fine but all ouptput and stepper does not work.

The only led are
some input led
pwr led
4 green led (but the 4th is less bright)

I can only suspect a problem changing 7i96 supply from "usb 5v adaptor" to "DC/DC buck converter + condensator and diode bridge on the main third free output from transformer (18v ~)

I have do this some days ago but maybee abusing from start stop after crash make the 7i96 card defective due to some crappy DC/DC converter ?

If you can point me for test something on the card i can search/order/replace something
