Having installed LinuxCNC on an RPi4 (following John's instructions),
And, having setup ethernet by modifying /etc/dhcpcd.conf (again, following John's instructions), I am unable to ping the Mesa 7i76e at address 192.168.1.121

I have tried a few ethernet cables, and I have checked and verified the voltage in at +5V.

I have not changed any jumpers on the Mesa.

Running sudo ifconfig returns the following for eth0:

eth0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 10.10.10.11 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 10.10.10.255
inet6 fe80::7e20:bc96:205c:f7e prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x20<link>
ether dc:a6:32:36:cb:ba txqueuelen 1000 (Ethernet)
RX packets 0 bytes 0 (0.0 B)
RX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 frame 0
TX packets 24 bytes 2998 (2.9 KiB)
TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0

After poking around here and going through the Mesa 7i76e documentation, this beginner is at a loss for what step(s) I missed.

Any suggestions or direction would be appreciated.

Additionally, I have been unable to find a network manager as part of this installation. Did I miss it? Do I need one? Is there one?

Thank you,

-Loren

You have setup the host Eth0 device for a 10.10.10.XX subnet
This makes sense if the 7I76E is set for a IP address of 10.10.10.10

I would set the 7I76E to 10.10.10.10 (move W3 up) power cycle the 7I76E
and try pinging it at 10.10.10.10
